I’m Yvette and Rose & Jade Handmade is my sewing business, based in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. Â
My aim and philosophy with my creations, alterations, and customer service is to work with my customers to ensure I understand what they are looking for and how I can achieve that in an attractive, creative, practical and cost effective way. Â
My interest and passion in sewing began when I learnt how to sew at school. I then returned to this creative outlet when my eldest son was born.
My sewing business was formalised with my first business – Face Up To It, where I made many many reusable face masks for friends, family, and the community. I offer a whole range of services, from alternations, to one off bespoke pieces, to all the various handmade creations in-between. Â Rose & Jade Handmade continues to evolve and grow. Â We now offer sewing lessons to beginners, intermediates and advanced sewers. I am always looking to continue to increase the variety of products and services I offer. Â
I enjoy using this my sewing business as an outlet for love, creativity and a dash of perfectionism 😀
